AFCEA Education and Training Is Changing

The AFCEA Educational Foundation's Education Committee, led by chairman Brad Dawson, has been doing incredible work to transform the AFCEA Professional Development Center. Tiger teams of this committee created and executed a survey of AFCEA members to determine professional needs, develop a list of potentially interested colleges and universities, identify a list of potentially interested training and educational Preferred Providers, and build a business case for these potential partners to join the AFCEA team. Expanding on an existing Preferred Provider relationship established almost three years ago with the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) as a model, the Educational Committee for Professional Development has built a pipeline of colleges, universities and training organizations that could offer quality education and training to AFCEA members and others AFCEA serves. The committee created four-tiered levels (Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze) of investment options with corresponding deliver-ables for these Preferred Providers.
