Airman 1st Class Jacob A. Thomas, USAF, is a Cyber Transport Systems specialist for the 10th Intelligence Squadron. He is I responsible for maintaining the underlying network infrastructure for the Distributed Common Ground System. Airman 1st Class Thomas' personal conviction for innovation, technical expertise and providing young people with an opportunity to excel is what sparked his interest to take a lead role in building a Cyber Patriot team at Tabb High School in Yorktown, Virginia. He works with a team of Air Force infrastructure technicians from his work center and a dozen Navy Junior ROTC cadets to perform in the Cyber Patriot competition.
