Cardiff Bay festivals

At the tail end of the summer, south Wales enjoyed visits to two of its ports by a variety of ships. During the late August bank holiday weekend, the sail trainer Tenacious and the sailing ships Ruth and Matthew visited Cardiff Bay to take part in the annual Cardiff Harbour Festival. The ships were berthed at Mermaid Quay and were all open to the public. A parade of sail of smaller craft took place at the event.
