NCL's cash injection

Private equity group Apollo Management has made a US$1 billion cash equity investment in Norwegian Cruise Line and will hold a 50 per cent stake in the company, together with NCL's Malaysian-based parent, Star Cruises, which acquired the line in 2000. Earlier this year, Apollo also invested $US850m in acquiring Oceania Cruises.
