Splendor debuts at Dover

Carnival cruise lines has deployed a ship in Northern Europe for the first time in its history. Following a christening ceremony by celebrity Myleene Klass on 10 July and a mini preview cruise to Amsterdam, the brand new 3,000-passenger Carnival Splendor (113,300gt) sailed from Dover on six 12-day cruises between 13 July and 30 August, taking in various Baltic ports including Helsinki and Tallinn.
