The 82m 3,200dwt cargo ship Phantom, loaded with timber for Casablanca, became disabled off Oland, Sweden in mid-February She had suffered a cargo shift in severe weather which caused her to take on a heavy list, and part of the deck cargo broke free and fell overboard.rnThe crew of six contacted the Swedish Coast Guard, which sent rescue vessels and a helicopter to the scene. The helicopter winched the crew to safety, and later a Coast Guard vessel was able to attach a line and take the vessel in tow. Phantom was brought safely to Oskarshamn, where operations to stabilise her continued.
