Ice-class lnc tankers

Dynagas of Greece has taken delivery of two ice-class membrane-type LNC tankers from South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industry's yard at Ulsan. Registered in the Marshall Islands, the 155,000m~3 capacity Yenisei River and Arctic Aurora will operate on charter to LNC majors Gazprom and Statoil. Classed by Lloyd's Register, the twin vessels incorporate advanced design, containment and operational features, and have been built specifically to cope with the harsh Arctic environment.
