Spanish service increase

LD Lines has extended its sailing programme to introduce a new Ireland-France-Spain connection from Rosslare via Saint-Nazaire to Cijon, served by the recently chartered ro-pax ferry Scintu (2009/26,094gt), now renamed Norman Atlantic. She shares sailings with Visentini-built sister Norman Asturias (2007/26,500gt), which launched a Poole-Santander service back in November. Poole now has one return sailing each week to Santander with passage times of 26 hours, and a second from the Dorset port to Cijon taking 25 hours each way. Norman Asturias can carry up to 2,255m of vehicles, with cabin berths for nearly 500.
