Antwerp plays host to Maersk double

On weekend of 18 October 2013 the port of Antwerp played host to two unexpected container giants. Due to industrial action at the APMT terminal in Rotterdam, Masrsk Line was forced to divert two vessels to Rotterdam's arch rival Antwerp. The industrial action at Rotterdam could not have come at a better time for Antwerp as the first vessel to be diverted was Mary Maersk, the third of Masrsk Line's Triple E vessels.
