The first of the next series for NCL

The latest in a long line of NCL cruise ships built by Meyer Werft, Norwegian Escape, was floated out at Papenburg on 15 August. She is due to enter service in late October. This ship is the first in the so-called Breakaway Plus class, an enlarged version of Norwegian Breakaway, of about 164,000gt and a passenger capacity (lower berth) of 4,200. Although she has the same length as Breakaway, she is about 2m wider.
