Second 18,000 TEU giant arrives

The world's third largest container line CMA CCM recently took delivery of CMA CCM Ceorg Forster, one of a series of vessels constructed by Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries at their shipyard on Ceoje Island. The new vessel was officially handed over on 2 June. Measuring 398m by 54m, CMA CCM Ceorg Forster is the Croup's second 18.000TEU class vessel. The series will comprise six vessels, three of which will be built by Samsung and the other three in China. All will be named after famous explorers.
