New container ships built for CSAV

Compania Sud Americana de Vapores (CSAV) has recently started taking delivery of a series of new container vessels which will be the largest in the company's history. The series of seven vessels was ordered in 2013 from South Korean Shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries, and will replace existing chartered in tonnage. On 29 October 2014 the first two vessels, named Copiapo and Cautin, were christened at a ceremony held at the Samsung shipyard on Geoji island.
