On 12 October 2017 the 3,824dwt icebreaking standby vessel Fedor Ushakov was formally named by PAO Sovcomflot (SCF Group) after Russian naval commander Admiral Fedor Ushakov (1745-1817), who was said to have not suffered a single defeat during his career and was instrumental in the founding of the port of Sevastopol and the development of Russia's Black Sea fleet.
