Norman Arrow, the largest fast ferry ever to serve the cross-Channel route, has been delivered to France's LD Lines.rnThe ferry operator's new 112m wave-piercing catamaran left Incat's Hobart facility in early May, taking three weeks to travel the 11 726nmiles to reach her home port, Boulogne. It will operate the Dover-Boulogne route.rnNorman Arrow is also the world's largest diesel-pow-ered catamaran and the first Incat 112m craft to operate in Europe. At nearly 11 000gt the new craft is one of the largest vessels yet built by Incat, providing significantly greater sea keeping qualities and passenger comfort than earlier generation fast ferries familiar to Dover Strait passengers, a fact echoed by one of the Masters onboard for the voyage, Capt Nick Dunn.
