摘要

Systematic numerical tests investigate the influence of five additive bulbs of varied length and breadth on the resistance and self-propulsion characteristics of a tanker, neglecting the free-surface effects. A finite volume method calculates the viscous flow at model and full scale. The propeller is modeled by an actuator disk.
