Aqua Link II hits Long Beach, CA

Seattle boatbuilder Kvichak Marine Industries has completed and delivered a 74-passenger catamaran water taxi to California-based ferry operator Catalina Express and partner Long Beach Transit (LBT), where she has been providing a shuttle service for tourists and commuters between the Long Beach downtown / waterfront areas, Belmont Shore and Alamitos Bay Landing since her official launch on 1 July. Christened AquaLink II, the ferry will join her predecessor AquaLink, which was also built by Kvichak and which has been operated by Catalina and LBT in the Long Beach area since 2001.
