Baltic Workboats has been contracted to build a 24m catamaran for operation by Lithuania's Ministry of Environment in the near-shore areas of the Baltic Sea. The Incat Crowther, Australia-designed vessel will be first catamaran ever built by Baltic Workboats. Delivery of vessel is planned for the end of 2011. The new vessel has been designed as a seismic research vessel and will be fitted out accordingly. The aft deck features lower platform access, a hydraulic A-Frame, 5.7tonne Guerra deck crane and moon pool.
