Bruntons moves into CPP manufacture

Manufacturer and Stone Marine subsidiary Bruntons Propellers is set to extend its range of propulsive solutions with the addition of its first controllable pitch propeller (CPP) system. The group reports that it intends to formally launch the CPP at the Monaco Yacht Show in September this year. According to Adrian Miles, Bruntons director, the decision was made in response to the increasing requirements of a new generation of more powerful and larger yachts.
