Gas tugs on the horizon

Rolls-Royce is providing gas-powered engines and propulsion systems for what have been described as the world s 'first LNG tugs' - which could slash NOx emissions by 92% and result in 19% less fuel consumption than vessels using conventional medium gas oil.
