First orders for Damen's new STu 3011

Damen has received its first order for its new 70tonne bp STu 3011 designs. The order for the two Stan Tugs, to be christened Atlantis and Dian Kingdom, has been placed by maritime services provider Seacontractors. The new order represents a milestone in Seacontractors' fleet expansion strategy, claims Seacontractors managing owner Xander Schanssema, who says he saw the potential in the new Stan Tug design to increase the company's offshore oil and gas and terminal services capabilities.
