New Russian trawler hits the water

Vyborg Shipbuilding has launched a new trawler, Yury Matochkin, for Russian commercial fishery Atlantrybflot, a subsidiary of FOR-Group. The 80.4m × 15.4m vessel has the capacity to catch and freeze up to 100tonnes of fish daily, and boasts a hold capacity of 2,375m~3. Yury Matochkin draws6.51m, displaces 5,563tonnes and features 4.64MW of power plant capacity. The trawler has attained the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping's Ice3 and Arc4 class notations. Vyborg is currently building a further two fishing trawlers for other FOR-Group companies, the builder confirms.
