Pilotage and VTS

Tasmania has had an eventful November, as we in the north of the island were graced with the presence of Captain Robert McCabe, President of the NI. The purpose of Robert's visit was to attend the Annual General Assembly of the International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU) which this year was held in Launceston, hosted by the Australian Maritime College and the University of Tasmania. The NI took the opportunity to use the IAMU venue, and 43 members and AMC students attended the meeting, the theme of which was Pilotage and Vessel Traffic Services (VTS).
