Container terminal managers see opportunities for growth ahead

Fall-out from the collapse in oil prices is of course being widely felt throughout the Gulf but executives on the management team at Khalifa bin Salman Container Terminal are upbeat. They are currently assessing ways to offset a 35% decline in transhipment cargo and make the most of the island's prime location adjacent to Saudi Arabia's populous eastern province. And, despite the downturn in transhipments, Bahrain's own market is expanding fast - latest figures indicate a 14% hike in domestic imports during 2015.
