Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd (WinGD), now owned by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation, provides propulsion power for a wide range of ship types in operation today. The Switzerland-based company continues the pioneering engine tradition of designers and builders Sulzer and Waertsilae and is a leading developer of low-speed gas and diesel engines.
