For decades, boat builders have clustered along the Bayou Lafourche, a 193 km waterway from Donaldsonville, Louisiana, U.S.A., to the Gulf of Mexico. In the past it has been called the "Bayou of Gold" because it is the economic lifeline for these builders to deliver their product to the Gulf of Mexico and from there to the world.
