The easiest way to remain competitive in multicolor screen printing is to remove the obstacles that hamper the efficiency of the printing process. In operations that print high-volume, multicolor work, these barriers to productivity commonly include lengthy and tedious press-setup routines and the need to monitor and frequently- adjust press settings during the course of a run. Bringing the variables of the screen-printing process under control is the key to overcoming these time- and money-wasting activities, and it is the principle around which THIEME engineered the THIEME 5000 inline multicolor UV printing/curing system. The Thieme 5000 is designed to improve print consistency, automate setup functions, and maintain proper oper-ational settings with a sophisticated microprocessor control system, carefully synchronized drive system, and a unique assortment of components not found on competing machines. The printer is modular in design, which allows customers to buy a complete six-color system, or start with fewer modules and expand the system with additional colors over time. The modules are available in a range of standard print-size formats, from 30 x 41 in. (760 x 1040 mm) to 62 x 120 in. (1575 x 3050 mm), as well as larger custom sizes.
