摘要

This research has revealed that poly-oxyethylene-10-oleyl-ether is a surfactant suitable for the formulation of lamellar liquid crystalls with water. The samples with the composition Brij 96/short-chain alcohol/LP/distilled water formed stable, well-tolerable liotropic lamellar liquid crystals. The emulsifier content was decreased markedly by the addition of a short-chain alcohol and a lipophilic LP. The four-component lamellar liquid crystalline systems, with relatively low-surfactant concentrations are suitable for application as a dermal dosage form.
