AIST and CAS Sign Research Cooperation Agreement

The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) has been carrying out research activities, aimed to making possible sustainable development of humankind through coverage of such fields as the environment, energy, biotech and information technology, upon cooperation with overseas scientists and research organizations. As part of these efforts, AIST has been mulling a cooperative relationship with the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), but on May 19, it officially signed a research cooperation agreement.
