STUDIES ON ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY OF SOME NEWLY SYNTHESIZED FURO HETEROCYCLIC HYDROXAMIC ACIDS

In the present investigation a series of hydroxamic acids derived from acylation of substituted aryl hydroxylamine or hydroxylamine hydrochloride are synthesized. The structures of rjewly synthesized compound were confirmed by HNMR and IR spectral data. AH the compounds have been tested in vitro against no. of microorganism in order to access their antimicrobial properties.
