Journal Use in Pharmacy: A Citation Analysis of Faculty Publications at a School of Pharmacy

Managing journal collections for a multidisciplinary, scientific field of study requires a deep understanding of the literature used by those researchers. This study examined the journal literature cited by the pharmacy faculty at the University of Mississippi to determine the most frequently used titles, their subject areas, the age of the citations relative to the source articles, and the major publishers of those journals.
