The Story of Econophysics

The term 'Econophysics' was coined in 1995 in Kolkata by Prof. H. E. Stanley of Boston University, USA, during an international conference, which was organised by Prof. B.K. Chakrabarti, of Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics. The book 'The Story of Econophysics' is a compendium, although in brief, of history, development and future prospects of econophysics. The book is written in a style which is an enjoyable reading to everyone from uninitiated to an expert on the subject.
