Professor Syamal Chakrabarti, a member of the Editorial Board of 'Science and Culture' as well as a Council member of Indian Science News Association has received 'National Award for Outstanding Efforts in Science and Technology Communication through Print Media (Books and Magazines) for 2012' given by National Council of Science and Technology Communication, (NCSTC) Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
