Nowadays we modellers are spoilt by endless numbers of superbly designed and engineered kits, none more so than the AFV Club Northrop F-5 series. AFV Club, a brand well established in armour-modelling circles, certainly made a big splash with their first aircraft kit release. Having the F-5 series as the subject was an inspired choice, as it meant a vast range of variants could be offered with a great variety of paint schemes to choose from for decal options. The model variants covered are F-5Es, Fs, Ns and RF-5Es, but the modular nature of their construction is by no means a compromise as it is on some other kits.
