Inmarsat promises long-term return for Asian inflight connectivity investment

Exploding demand for inflight connectivity (IFC) in Asia Pacific is expected to further hike up profits for Inmarsat's (LON:ISAT) aviation business, boosting the outlook for the satellite telco that received takeover interest last year. Inmarsat recently posted US$369.3m in group Q3 2018 revenue, a 3.7% increase from US$356.2m the year prior, while its nine-month revenue ended 30 September 2018 totalled US$1.09bn, increasing by 4.5% year-over-year.
