Green light for bunker industry qualification

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has committed itself to developing a professional bunker industry qualification.rnIBIA chairman Chris Fisher told delegates at the association's annual convention, in Singapore, in October: "IBIA is not looking to move further into the training sector, but many of our members have shown an interest in an IBIA qualification. The concept under consideration envisages IBIA preparing examination material for up to three levels - basic, advanced and higher."
