One of the benefits of YouTube, thernvideo-sharing website, is that among the recently generated content are videos that have some historical value. Take the scenes filmed on 4 August 1991 on board Oceanos, a Greek-owned cruise liner that was, at the time, almost 40 years old. Oceanos had started to sink in a storm off the coast of South Africa and the footage shows how passengers were airlifted by helicopter from the ship after it developed a bad list. In the end, all 571 passengers and crew were rescued.
