Puntland catches illegal dumpers

A ship has been caught dumping waste off the coast of the autonomous Somali state of Puntland and 34 crew members arrested. The Puntland Maritime Police Force caught a North Korean-flagged bulker's crew dumping 5,000 tonnes of cement 13nm east of Bossaso on 16 November, African news websites Garowe Online and AIIAfrica reported.
