UK Club examines blackouts

A study into the causes of an increasing number of incidents related to main engine failure and accidents following blackouts has been carried out by the UK Club's risk assessors and published as Risk Focus: Loss of Power. This is the third in the club's series of Risk Focus publications. The study involved a detailed analysis of more than 700 incidents, a significant number of which involved claims for third-party property damage, in some cases amounting to millions of dollars.
