UK Club examines blackouts

A study into the causes of an increasing number of main engine failure-related incidents and accidents following blackouts has been carried out by the UK Club's risk assessors and published as Risk Focus: Loss of Power. This is the third in the club's series of Risk Focus publications. The study analysed in detail more than 700 incidents, a significant number of which involved claims for third-party property damage, in some cases amounting to millions of dollars.
