Skuld warns tanker owners over Libya

Norwegian protection and indemnity insurer Skuld has urged its members involved in the Libyan oil trade not to venture into ports or other areas where they could come into confrontation with Libyan security forces. The Club's warning came after Turkish-operated Aframax tanker Baku was reportedly shot at by the Libyan Navy as it approached the port of Es Sider on 5 January, forcing it to divert to Malta.
