A survey evaluating how crew training facilities in the United States plan to meet the revised International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) requirements has found that the added costs needed to train in accordance to the updated rules could drive qualified instructors from the industry.
