UK port chases 'brightest talent'

Major UK port operator Associated British Ports (ABP) has opened applications for its Graduate Training Programme. ABP said it is "looking to attract the brightest talent to join the maritime and logistics sector". It is the largest port operator in the country, with 21 ports around the UK, handling about 25% of all UK seaborne trade and more than 85 million tonnes of cargo. Starting this year, the two-year programme is designed to give graduates a 360° view of the company, providing them with the skills and experience needed to become a future leader.
