Positive duty in law a possibility for company directors, HSC decides

The HSE is to review current health and safety legislation with a view to making possible amendments to incorporate specific duties for company directors. The Executive was asked to carry out the review by the HSC, after it decided not to accept HSE proposals to follow the guidance backed by enforcement route.
