Carver & Co (Engineers) Ltd says its innovative new 'gasgrab' product is providing a safer method of gas-cylinder handling and is helping companies adhere to the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992. According to the HSE, more than a third of all reported incidents causing an employee to miss three or more days of work result from manual-handling injuries in or around the workplace. The cost of these is believed to equate to about ￡100 million a year.
