With a background in the military and offshore engineering Danny had always had a direct interest in health and safety, but it was while working towards his NEBOSH General Certificate that he applied for a health and safety role with his employer in 2011 to act as an advisor to site managers. The role quickly grew to encompass all aspects of environmental management and sustainability, training for more than 100 staff, management and audit of up to 14 sites, arranging planning applications for demolition, and production of documentation such as Construction Phase Plans and technical demolition method statements.
