Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) has launched its new Vacutainer® Eclipse™ Signal™ Blood Collection Needle in Europe. The safety-engineered design with single-handed activation, integrated holder and a new flashback chamber is said to offer health-care workers immediate confirmation of venous access, while also reducing the potential for sharps injuries.
