Ten dead in Glasgow helicopter crash

Ten people were confirmed dead following a helicopter crash in Glasgow. The Police Scotland helicopter crashed into the Clutha pub on Stockwell Street at approximately 22.25 GMT on 29 November 2013. The helicopter was successfully winched from the pub on the 2 December 2013 and moved to a secure site for detailed investigation. Police have named the three dead helicopter crew as pilot David Traill, 51, and police constables Kirsty Nelis, 36, and Tony Collins, 43. The seven people who died in the bar were Robert Jenkins, 61, Mark O'Prey, 44, Colin Gibson, 33, John McGarrigle, 57, Samuel McGhee, 56, Gary Arthur, 48 and Joe Cusker, 59. More than 30 people were taken to various hospitals across Glasgow following the crash.
