摘要

Elements of the hydrological regime of bogs in the north of European Russia are considered as applied to estimating its transformation in the design of linear engineering structures. A general characterization of bogginess is given with a brief description of major types of bogs in the region. Natural bog regulation of runoff is studied, which is generally characterized by a decrease in peak maximum water levels and discharges during spring flood. A qualitative analysis of the technogenic transformation of the runoff from bog areas is conducted. A procedure is developed and calculations are carried out to estimate changes in the level of bog waters in typical bog landscapes crossed with pipelines under construction.
