摘要

The wide use of asynchronous motors for rocker drives in the oil industry entails appropriate modification of such motors for those operating conditions. Many years' experience with motors for rocker drives suggests the following preliminary requirements for Asynchronous motors: High starting characteristics (a starting torque 1.5 times the rated value) and a relatively low starting Current (which is especially important for cyclic operating conditions); Reliable accident protection for the asynchronous motors, since pumps in boreholes operate for a long time Without the attention of maintenance personnel, and losses due to downtime and the replacement and repair of Malfunctioning motors considerably exceed their cost;
