The Defence Industrial Strategy (DIS) included a section on implementation and this was divided into two parts: 1. Taking Forward the DIS - the Challenges for Change. 2. Getting Down to Work - Putting the DIS into Action. As we said in our previous paper: 'Implementation is key. It needs to change the fundamentals, particularly culture and behaviours in both industry and MoD'. In this paper, we discuss three important issues bearing on implementation.
